Buy and Sell Crypto on BitMEX with Banxa

BitMEX partnered with Banxa to offer direct crypto on-ramp and off-ramp services via credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local bank transfers, with no repeated KYC for verified users.

BitMEX has launched new buy and sell crypto features directly on its platform through a partnership with payments infrastructure provider Banxa. The integration allows users to purchase digital assets using fiat currencies and subsequently convert crypto back to fiat without leaving the BitMEX interface.

Buy and Sell with Multiple Payment Methods

The on-ramp service supports purchases via Visa/Mastercard credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local bank transfers such as SEPA. Users can choose from over 30 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and USDT. The off-ramp feature lets traders cash out their crypto holdings directly to a linked bank account or card, supporting multiple fiat currencies including USD, EUR, and GBP.

To mark the launch, BitMEX is offering a 0% card purchase fee promotion via Banxa running from 4 June 2025 to 4 July 2025 (terms and conditions apply). Additionally, a deposit match campaign rewards users with up to $110 in trading credits and cashback for new deposits made through the buy feature.

Verified BitMEX users can access both services without undergoing additional KYC. The buy crypto function is available immediately on BitMEX Web, with mobile support expected in the coming weeks.

Banxa, an OSL company, provides embedded crypto infrastructure and holds international licensing. It joins Mercuryo and Onramper as fiat partners on the platform, giving users multiple providers to compare rates.
