Binance Launches U.S. Stocks Trading and Previews bStocks Tokenized Securities

Binance introduces US equities trading with zero commission and fractional shares, and teases bStocks tokenized securities pending regulatory approval.

Binance has rolled out US equities trading for eligible users, granting access to over 7,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs. The move is part of the exchange’s broader strategy to become a multi-asset financial superapp that bridges traditional investing with on-chain finance.

The service is offered through Binance’s ADGM-licensed broker-dealer, Nest Trading Limited. Eligible users can trade with zero commission, purchase fractional shares starting at $5, and retain direct ownership of equities through a US-regulated clearing broker. Select stocks are available for 24/5 trading. Purchases are primarily made with USDC, though BNB, USDT, USD1, and $U are also supported. Sale proceeds are settled in USDC. Additionally, users can opt into Fully Paid Securities Lending (FPSL) to earn passive income on their holdings.

Binance co-founder and co-CEO Yi He stated that the goal is to simplify access across asset classes and make it easier for users to diversify portfolios while moving between traditional and on-chain finance. The exchange described the launch as a step toward reaching the next 3 billion users.

In the coming weeks, pending regulatory approvals, Binance plans to introduce bStocks—tokenized securities representing selected US stocks and ETFs. These will be issued by BTECH Holdings Ltd, a Special Purpose Vehicle registered in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Once live, bStocks will trade on the Binance exchange, allowing users to hold programmable, always-on tokenized assets that can be used in DeFi applications such as lending and liquidity provision.

Richard Teng, co-CEO of Binance, said tokenization could reshape financial markets by giving users more control, flexibility, and financial freedom. Binance noted that bStocks are not direct shares in the underlying companies and are subject to various risks including market, liquidity, and regulatory factors. The offering is not available in the US or to US persons. Nest Trading serves as introducing broker and routes orders to clearing partner Alpaca for execution and custody.
