Another Italian Club Partners with CFD Broker, This Time AC Milan and FPG
Serie A club AC Milan has signed CFD provider FPG Fortune Prime Global as a Premium Partner and Official Online Trading Partner, the broker's first sports sponsorship deal.
AC Milan has appointed CFD provider FPG Fortune Prime Global as a Premium Partner and its Official Online Trading Partner, the Italian football club announced on Wednesday. According to the announcement, the agreement is the first partnership FPG has signed with a sports brand.
The deal gives the brokerage visibility across AC Milan's global audience and commercial platform. The club said it counts a worldwide community of more than 600 million Rossoneri supporters, while FPG operates across more than 30 countries.
Kyle Liu, Head of Marketing at FPG Fortune Prime Global, said the tie-up reflects similarities between the two organisations. He described AC Milan's "legacy of passion, excellence and enduring trust" as mirroring FPG's own, adding that the company was "proud to be part of its story."
FPG is not the first trading brand to attach itself to the Serie A side. In 2024, CFI Financial Group became AC Milan's Official Online Trading Partner, folding the club into its wider sports sponsorship portfolio. Elsewhere in Italian football, Napoli agreed a two-year Global Trading Partnership with Polish investment app XTB in April, covering the current season and the next.
Australian Licence Came via GMT Markets
The sports sponsorship follows FPG's earlier expansion in regulated financial services. In 2023, Fortune Prime Global, operating as FPG Capital Group, acquired Melbourne-based GMT Markets, which had been active in Australia since 2011.
That transaction handed FPG access to GMT Markets' Australian Securities and Investments Commission licence, allowing it to provide forex and CFD trading services in Australia under the FPG Capital Group brand. The licence was later transferred to Fortune Prime Global Capital Pty Ltd. At the time of the acquisition, FPG's product range covered CFDs on forex, shares, commodities, cryptocurrencies and indices, and its global operations included authorisation from the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission.
