Indonesian crypto exchange Pintu will rebrand the IP token to DATA starting July 6, 2026, with a 1:1 conversion. Trading in IP will halt on that date, with DATA trading commencing July 14.
Indonesian cryptocurrency exchange Pintu has announced the rebranding of its IP token to DATA, effective July 6, 2026. The token conversion will occur at a 1:1 ratio, with user balances automatically updated without requiring any action.
To facilitate the migration, Pintu will disable trading for the IP token on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 14:59 WIB. All existing limit orders and scheduled Auto DCA orders will be automatically canceled by the system. The Send and Receive features will be unavailable during the rebranding process.
Trading in the new DATA token is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 17:00 WIB. The exchange noted that the migration process will require additional time to ensure smooth execution and that all user assets remain secure throughout the transition.
After the rebranding is complete, users must use the new DATA address for on-chain transactions. Pintu apologized for any inconvenience and invited users to contact its live chat support or email for questions.
The rebranding is a technical update focused on token identity, with no impact on the underlying value or holdings of the asset.
