amana Hires Former Devexperts CTO Andrey Artamonov To Lead Technology Strategy

amana has appointed Andrey Artamonov, former CTO of fintech provider Devexperts, as its new Chief Technology and Information Officer to accelerate proprietary tech development.

MENA-based neobroker amana has named Andrey Artamonov as its new Chief Technology and Information Officer. Artamonov previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Devexperts for nine years and spent 17 years at the trading software provider overall.

Artamonov’s appointment signals amana’s push to build more proprietary infrastructure rather than relying solely on third-party platforms. The move comes as brokers across the Middle East accelerate investments in artificial intelligence, automation and cloud-native trading systems.

During his Devexperts tenure, Artamonov oversaw engineering teams of more than 700 people and led development of trading platforms, brokerage infrastructure and wealth management technology used by financial institutions in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. After leaving Devexperts, he founded TripleA Digital, a Lisbon-based consultancy focused on automation and AI for financial workflows.

At amana, Artamonov will oversee application development, corporate IT, business intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and platform operations. His experience with AI at TripleA Digital is expected to become increasingly relevant as the brokerage sector integrates AI into client support, trading analytics and compliance monitoring.

“Technology has always been at the heart of what we do. As we continue to grow, we’re investing in the people who can help us build faster, smarter and at a much larger scale,” said Muhammad Rasoul, CEO of amana. “Andrey has spent his career developing technology for some of the world’s leading financial institutions, and we’re excited to have him join the team as we continue raising the bar for our clients.”

Artamonov added: “amana has built an impressive platform and a strong brand across the MENA region. I see a real opportunity to build technology that not only supports the company’s growth but also helps set a new standard for investing and trading in the region.”

amana serves more than 500,000 users and offers access to over 6,800 financial instruments, including more than 1,200 MENA-listed equities alongside U.S. stocks, ETFs, forex, metals and other asset classes through its mobile-first platform.
